"The
History Of Freeman's Business Machines"
Freeman's
Business Machines was established in 1919 by William O.
Freeman Sr. He started out working in his house. At that
time his territory covered four states in Texas, Louisiana,
Arkansas, and Oklahoma. He sold and repaired typewriters,
cash registers, and adding machines. What he did with
his business was a phenomenon. He could leave town with
no money in his pockets and come back with rolls of five
hundred dollar bills and one hundred dollar bills. At
that time there was no competition and when he would come
into town, people would line up to get their machines
serviced and cleaned. He was always friendly and greeted
his customers with patience and respect. Freeman's Business
Machines showed no decline or financial hardships during
the great depression. As the years rolled by, Freeman's
Business Machines has always catered to customer service
with satisfactory results. Freeman's is now located in
Ada, Oklahoma since 1941 and Duncan, Oklahoma since 1954.
Freeman's is still a family operated business. Today it
is ran by William O. Freeman III. Always stop by our offices
because we will always serve our customers with quality
and dedication.
